Preparing system users' roles and permissions

User roles for grouping users by functions in the enterprise. Each of the roles may have separate permissions restricting or allowing access to functions and application modules. Configure the roles by clicking on the “Admin” menu, then “Users and permissions” and “Roles”. The system stores the default roles here. You can change them or add new ones. In most cases you will not need to modify roles and permissions.

We add a new record by clicking the button, we will get a form with fields

  • Slug - the short name of the new role
  • Name - name displayed in the system
  • Required Roles - roles to be inherited from other roles
  • Permissions - Tree of permissions to system modules

  • Please note that changing the permissions for a role will affect the permissions of all users assigned to it.
